The environment is made up of everything that surrounds us and allows us to live. For this reason, we should learn to respect and protect it. Unfortunately, the phenomenon of pollution has spread more and more in recent years.
Pollution is the introduction of substances that are dangerous to the environment and that destroy it slowly. These components create a serious damage to man and to every living being. They are as useful to humans as dangerous for the environment and can be of any kind: gas, dust, liquids, radiation. Widespread sources of pollution used daily are industries, vehicles, litter or non-recyclable substances such as plastic. Pollution is the cause of many deaths because if water and air are contaminated we introduce toxic substances into our body by drinking or simply breathing.
The consequences of pollution are therefore many: global warming, the contamination of water and soil, the melting of the glaciers and the rising of the seas, deforestation, smog and the diffusion of electromagnetic waves.
In order to reduce pollution we should decrease the production processes of toxic substances. What is more, the economy should be based on recycling and on the use of renewable energy sources. What do you think about it?
