DISTANCE LEARNING OR PRESENCE LEARNING?

Hello everyone!

These years have unfortunately been characterized by a worldwide pandemic that has turned the lives of all people upside down, especially all students. In fact, we spent a lot of time in school but, sadly, for two years we did distance learning… so I wondered if that was useful.

On the one hand, this type of education is just to avoid aggravating the Covid-19 situation, indeed today there are many infected; another useful thing is that no travel is necessary for families and students to reach the school headquarters, saving time and money.

On the other hand, there are several negative aspects such as the lack of social interaction, students spending too much time on the computer, making come very often headaches, sight problems. Not to mention the learning method, in fact, because of too many problems of connection the students could not follow the courses well, and therefore, they skipped a lot of arguments. Face to face learning is a really effective way to learn knowledge and skills because it often combines different ways of learning including writing, reading, discussion, presentations, projects, group work, film clips, demonstration, and practice, you’ll be able to concentrate harder on your learning because there’ll be less distraction than if you were at home and you may feel more comfortable and learn more easily in a familiar, traditional classroom situation.

Basically, I think that the didactic in presence is much better in all aspects and so I hope that the school system will remain as it is.
