Anxiety is a physiological emotion not surprising to feel sometimes, is a normal reaction to stress, and can be beneficial in some situations. It can alert us to dangers and help us prepare and pay attention.
But anxiety disorders involve more than temporary worry or fear. For people with an anxiety disorder, the anxiety does not go away and can get worse over time. The symptoms can interfere with daily activities such as job performance, schoolwork, and relationships.
There are several types of anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder, and various phobia-related disorders.
Nowadays many people said that they suffer from anxiety, but they don’t even know the difference between emotion and the disorder. This happens concerning a lot of mental issues, such as a person who tells that he is depressed while he is just sad or another that declares having an eating disorder because he skipped a meal once.
Mental issues are not just a trend, they are a real problem that can become very dangerous for people who suffer from them, and led to terrible actions.
A mentally ill person is someone who needs help just like another who is struggling with physical pain, and not somebody who is looking for attention while he can just blame himself.
