What to visit in Malta?

In March, I went to Malta to participate in a language immersion program, an experience that allowed me to improve my language skills and discover the wonders of the island.

The attractions that I enjoyed the most, without a doubt, are:

Mdina, known as the “Silent City.”
Walking through its narrow, cobblestone streets made me feel as if I had stepped back in time. The ancient walls, cathedrals, and panoramic views of the Maltese countryside were fascinating.

Marsaxlokk, a picturesque fishing village famous for its traditional luzzu, the colorful fishing boats, probably my favourite of all.

Valletta, the capital, impressed me with its historic architecture and monuments. I visited St. John’s Co-Cathedral, admiring the works of Caravaggio, and wandered through the alleys filled with shops, cafes, and museums. The view from the Barrakka Gardens was breathtaking.
