What has happened in the last two years?

Our lives have changed in recent years due to the pandemic. It all started in 2019, in China, this virus broke out and we still don’t not know how it was born . At the beginning of 2020, however, things became much more serious, with many more deaths. It began to be reported in foreign newspapers and on Chinese television news, although at first it was said that the virus would remain in China. As the weeks passed, however, the virus also reached Europe and Italy. A few months later, the isolation began. We were locked in the house and could only go out to do the shopping. In the summer of 2020 the situation improved thanks to the high temperature and it was really thought to be the end of it, but it wasn’t. With the fall, the high infections and high deaths returned. Fortunately around February / March 2021 came the vaccines for covid and the situation improved in Italy, although not too much. Abroad, however, it was back to isolation. Towards the end of 2021 deaths and ICU admissions dropped, but infections increased. Even in late 2021/early 2022, there were records of infections, even higher than the lockdown. Now in April 2022, the situation seems to be improving and it appears that soon the covid may end for good.
