What Covid is for me…

Hello everyone, my name is Gabriele Gervasi, I am thirteen, and today I will tell you what COVID 19 was for me and what I think about the end of the state of emergency.

As we all know, people have been living with COVID 19 for three years already. It all started in 2019 when this virus arrived in China and slowly spread around the world. The first cases that were recorded in Europe occurred in France and Italy, between 24 and 31 January 2020. As more and more cases were recorded and deaths increased, so there was a lockdown that forced the world population to stay at home.

At that time, schools, gyms, and most public places were closed and almost everything stopped. So we kids were forced to study all day through computers and mobile phones.

On the one hand, thanks to the lockdown, we sixth-grade kids have learned to use technology; on the other hand, this life made us feel very bad because we could no longer meet our friends and do what we did regularly.

Now, after three years of fighting this virus, the situation is getting better and better and in fact, we are slowly returning to normal.

To conclude, I think that COVID 19 will become a normal flu, thanks also to vaccines, which will hit us habitually every year, like a fever or a cold.
