We abolish the use of weapons, a danger for all

An eighteen-year-old boy, called Salvador Ramos, parked his car, went to the campus of an elementary school, Robb Elementary School, with two rifles and shot and killed nineteen children and two teachers, in particular, one of the two, Eva Mireles, protected her students from bullets with her body. It’s terrible. Parents are sad and angry at the death of their children. “Our hearts are broken, we are devastated” said the pastor of the Temple of the Baptist church. This is another terrible massacre that took place on May 24 in Uvalde, Texas. It is believed that in recent weeks the killer had faced a difficult time and had gone mad. Like this, so many murders of this type often happened in America since there is no law that prohibited the use of weapons. In fact, Abbott, a conservative in agreement with the Republicans, authorized, a year ago, the inhabitants of Texas to use weapons without the need for a license. Currently, in America, there is much discussion about the danger of weapons. The American president himself, angry and indignant, doesn’t accept these massacres. To tackle this problem, it was decided to hold a meeting with the NRA (National Rifle Association, the lobby of arms manufacturers). Biden would like to change the law on assault weapons to abolish the legal sale of weapons and avoid other tragedies like this one. As reported in the newspaper “La Stampa”, he asked: “These shootings rarely happen in other countries of the world. Because?” making millions of American citizens to reflect on the great danger that weapons represent for everyone. In this way, everyone can do what they want also to kill and it is terrible to think that at any moment we could be shot by someone mad. Living in fear isn’t life.
