The bloody conflict that is affecting the Ukrainian people is a huge tragedy, which affects us all. Even we kids are shocked by these cruelties of mankind. Throughout history, man has fought many wars for different reasons; the reason for this has political and economic reasons also linked to the ‘cold war’, but wars are never the best solution because they cause the death of thousands of innocent people. States should use dialogue, diplomacy and confrontation to resolve their disputes, with peacekeeping as their main purpose.
I follow this war on TV and social media and what I see is only the suffering, pain and sacrifice of innocent people. For a couple of months we remembered the ‘day of remembrance’ with the hope of never seeing the suffering of a people again; History must serve as an example!
I wish this war would end as soon as possible.
