The Fontana di Trevi is one of the most beautiful fountain in the world. The origins date back to the year 19 BC, when the fountain was the end of the Acqua Virgo aqueduct. The name derives from “ Tre vie”, since the fountain was the meeting point of three streets. The fountain was built during the Renaissance, under the direction of pope Nicolas v.
