THE TREVI FOUNTAIN.

Have you ever thrown a coin into the Fontana di Trevi in Rome? Yes , we have ; that’s a myth, did you know?  This myth originated in 1954 with the film “Three coins in the fountain”: If you throw a coin into the water you will return to Rome…Or if you throw two coins you will fall in love, if you throw three coins you will marry the person that you met.   But , remember,  to achieve the desire… you have to throw  the coin with the right hand over your left shoulder!

The Fontana di Trevi  is one of the most beautiful fountain in the world. The origins date back to the year 19 BC, when the fountain was the end of the Acqua Virgo aqueduct. The name derives from “ Tre vie”, since the fountain was the meeting point of three streets. The fountain was built during the  Renaissance, under the direction of pope Nicolas v. The final appearance dates from 1762, after many years of Nicola Salvi, it was finalized  by Giuseppe Pennini . ! Come and see this beautiful fountain!
