The Walt Disney Company, called simply Disney by people, is a US multinational founded in 1923 by Walt Disney and his brother Roy, during the famous Roaring Twenties. The company was born as an animation studio that gained its great success thanks to an animated series launched in 1928, the timeless “Mickey Mouse”. After this success, in the 1930s and 1940s, the Company began producing animated films. In the following years, Walt Disney Company started to rapidly grow entering the tourism industry, building theme parks such as Disneyland which has been a place of attraction for children and adults for ages.
The studio subsequently produced films with real actors and television shows. After the two Disney brothers died, in 1966 and 1971, the company faced a period of crisis, especially in the animation sector. So, Disney Company created a television channel that only broadcast Disney movies and series, called Disney Channel and founded an international chain of stores specializing in the sale of Disney products, Disney Store.
At the end of 2019, Disney launches a streaming platform called Disney + where you can see all Disney movies and TV series. It is a very useful platform for those who are passionate about Disney cartoons and films.
