Yesterday afternoon on TV I saw the Lord of the Rings the Return of the King. This novel was written by J. R. R. Tolkien and is set in the end of the Third Age of the imaginary Middle-earth. It was published in three volumes between 1954 and 1955.
The Lord of the Rings narrates the mission of nine companions called “The Fellowship of the Ring”, who set out to destroy the Ring of Power, a weapon that would make the evil Sauron invincible if it returned to his hands, giving him the power to dominate all of the Earth. middle.
The protagonist is Frodo Baggins, the antagonists are Sauron and Saruman, other characters are: Aragorn, Boromir, Gollum, Eowyn, Faramir, Gandalf, Gimli, Legolas, Meriadoc Brandibuck, Peregrino Tuc, Samvise Gamgee, Théoden.
The film is fantasy, adventure and also action and that’s why I like it because I love the fantastic and adventurous genre. The special effects were really cool, it struck me how they did Gollum because actually the actor who does this character wears a blue jumpsuit that makes you laugh and that’s also why the actors were good because they didn’t laugh at the sight of Gollum dressed like that.
I was very moved by this film especially the end which is moving and sad, I can say that it was not so scary to see all those monsters even if they were really ugly.
The beauty is that when you watch the first film, since it leaves you in suspense just when something is about to happen, it forces you to watch all three films because watching one you don’t understand what is really happening and what the enemy is.
