The Beverly Wilshire Hotel

If you want to spend an unforgettable holiday in Los Angeles, you can book your accommodation at the wonderful Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
It is a historic luxury hotel located at the intersection between Wilshire boulevard and Rodeo Drive, the famous street where you can find expensive designer shops.
It was completed in 1928 (when the city had fewer than 18,000 residents), and was then known as the “Beverly Wilshire Apartment Hotel”. The E-shaped structure is built of a Tuscan stone and Carrara marble in the Italian Renaissance Architecture style. Its Penthouse Suite is the largest guest room space in the city.
The Hotel is the only one to have two rooftop terraces, overlooking the Hollywood Hills and the legendary Rodeo Drive.
Many famous people have been guests at this hotel; in the 60s it was home to Elvis Presley, Warren Beatty and John Lennon, when he was separating from his wife Yoko Ono.
Other important guests were U.S. President Barack Obama, the musician Eric Clapton, Elton John, Robert Pattinson.
In 1990, the Beverly Wilshire was the primary setting for the movie “Pretty Woman”, starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts.
