THE ARCHEOLOGICAL MUSEUM IN RAMACCA.

The archeological museum in Ramacca preserves the finds of the surroundings archeological  area of The mountain. There are finds dating back to the Mesolithic age  (8,500 years ago) and to the Bronze age (12,00 b.C) and the districts of Carrubo, Perriere Sottano Albospino; you can see lots of  ceramic fragments with painted decorations of the Capri Megara Iblea style. The Sicilet period presents some finds dating to the VI century b.C: objects of everyday life : lava stone millstones, clay loom weights, fire pots; attic black figures and red figures pottery; objects for war use, votive statuettes of Demetra and Kore from the rock sanctuary, a bracelet made of bronze.
