Sport is everyone’s right as our Italian Constitution states.
I am lucky to have had the opportunity to exercise this right thanks to the sports club Asd Gescal, based in my village (Bordonaro) in Messina, which has been working to give us kids an opportunity at a football level since we were children.
Not only is sport good for our body, but it can also be a help for all those children and teenagers who have a delicate situation in their family, because it can be an escape route and thus prevent them from growing up alone.
Sport gives the opportunity to socialize with people, gives the opportunity to make new friends, but the most important thing is that it teaches you discipline, because in every sport there are very specific rules and many times these rules help you in the important future choices.
