SMART HOME.

Home automation plays a very important role in making equipment and systems. The term “smart home” indicates an environment,  appropriately designed and technologically equipped, which makes available to the user systems that go beyond the “traditional”. Equipment and systems are able to perform partially autonomous functions  or programmed by the user or, recently, completely autonomous.

At a higher level we speak of “building automation”. The intelligent building, with the support of new technologies, allows the coordinated, integrated and computerized management of technological systems (air conditioning, water, gas and energy distribution, security systems), of computer networks and communication networks, in order to improve management flexibility, comfort, safety and to improve the quality of living and working inside buildings. Thanks to home automation, systems of this kind can be used in other contexts such as: hospitals, homes for disabled people, or in companies to manage night lighting, supervise a photovoltaic system.
