SIR ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE: A SHORT BIOGRAPHY.

The creator of the famous  Sherlock Holmes was sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He was born in Scotland in 1859. He was paid only 25 £ for his first Holmes novel, a study in Scarlet (1887) and it wasn’t a success. After that he wrote 56 short stories and four novels, and historical novels. He decide to write a  book  in which Holmes died, but his readers were so upset that he was forced to writ e a book where Holmes survived. He was involved in politics, human rights and defended innocent people. His stories were successful in the scientific world and his methods were used in many parts of the world. He was a sportsman and played cricket and football for England.
