Religion

Religion is a social construct formed by that set of beliefs, experiences, rites that involve the human being, or a community, in the experience of what is considered sacred, especially with divinity, or it is that whole of contents, rituals, representations that, as a whole, become part of a particular cult.

It should be borne in mind that “the concept of religion cannot be defined abstractly, that is, outside a historically determined cultural position and a reference to certain historical formations”.The study of “religions” is the subject of the “Science of religions” while the historical development of religions is the subject of the “History of religions”.
