NETFLIX: LET’S FIND A BALANCE!

Netflix is a streaming service that offers a variety of TV series and all kinds of films as well as documentaries and much more on a wide range of Internet-connected devices. You can watch what you want, where you want, when you want on an unlimited number of devices and without commercial breaks. There is always something new to discover, new films and TV series every week! You can watch from your smartphone, tablet, Smart TV, laptop or streaming devices. The cost ranges from €7.99 to €15.99 per month. No extra costs, no contracts. With the app for iOS, Android and Windows 10 you can also download your favourite programmes. You can use the download function to watch content while on the move and without an Internet connection. Netflix is an extremely flexible service. 

I personally love Netflix and its services. With the programming on offer, it’s hard for me to tear myself away from the screen; the programmes vary and grab your attention enough to follow them on a regular basis. Obviously it is their goal to be engaging and attract as many viewers as possible. On the other hand, we have to be the ones to modulate our time, varying our activities so that we don’t just passively suffer things that are already nice and packaged.  Certainly convenient but relatively useful for our training and our physical and mental health. As in all things, the important thing is to find a good balance.
