I think war is completely useless, and I also think I’m not the only one who thinks so. The Russian president has no idea what he is doing to an innocent people. I think it would have been better to sit at a table and talk, instead of bombing and demolishing buildings and houses.
My family and I were lucky enough to host a fantastic Ukrainian family of 3 people, a mother and two children, for a week, forced to flee their city of Kiev. Having them with us was a truly unique emotion, and I wish everyone
to live such an experience, because the feeling that remains is one of satisfaction and happiness, and the awareness of having made a very important gesture.
For these people it is not easy to escape from their country with only the essentials in a small backpack.
In this period these families need affection and hospitality.
I hope that this war will end very soon, so that all the people now out of their country can soon return to live happy, ready to rebuild their lives.
I hope with all my heart that the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, will once again have a sense of reason and put an end to all this.
Because in 2022 by now history should have taught something, but apparently it hasn’t taught anything.
