March 21 is the national day that remembers the victims of the mafia and it has reached its twenty-sixth edition this year in Italy. This day has been called “the day of remembrance and commitment in memory of the victims of the mafia” . It is important to remember this event, organized by a vast network of associations, schools, social realities. On that date the names of the victims were read, pronounced carefully, in a way to remember those people who fought mafia and who died because they didn’t give in the treats; stories, passions, sacrifices, and the affirmation of freedom! Initiatives in respect of the anti-.Covid regulations were promoted.
Culture is essential to awake consciences and generate participation for the fight against mafias, because everybody must remember that mafia exists! Lots of men have fought to help young people feel safer in their land; let’s think to Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino: they helped our Country arresting more than 475 mafia members with the Maxi trial.
