There is a big difference between Italian and English diets, but they also have a few things in common. Actually, Italian and English people take about the same amount of proteins, vitamins and fats, but from different kinds of food.
Italians usually have three main meals a day and it is the same for English people. Italian breakfast consists of biscuits with milk, tea, coffee or orange juice. Italians have lunch at around 1:00 pm and they usually eat pasta, but working people usually don’t go home at lunch time and they have a sandwich. Lastly, Italians have dinner at 8:00 pm and they have meat or fish with a little bread.
Now, let’s have a look at English diet. For breakfast, they usually have eggs with bacon accompanied by tea or coffee and hot, buttered toast. Most English people have lunch between 12:00 and 1:00 pm and they usually eat a sandwich; someone has meat or fish with bread. At dinner, between 6:30 and 8:00 pm, they mainly eat meat with vegetables.
Obviously, the dishes are not always the same and sometimes they may change. These listed here, anyway, are the main kinds of food consumed by Italian and English people. So, enjoy!
