Greta Thunberg is a young Swedish activist against climate change. In 2019 she won the international children’s peace prize, mobilising students from all over the world.
The first action she took was going out on strike from school; one day she sat outside the Swedish parliament for a day saying school strike for climate. She was on newspapers and on TV. People joined her outside the Parliament on the 15 march 2019 1,4 million students were with her. In her first speech in 2018 she said : “I want you to act as if your house was on fire”. She became interested in the climate when she was at school. She was shocked by what she saw in the documentaries .
She teaches us we could use our voice to stop pollution and act for a better future!
