DRACO VERSUS HARRY.

Draco Malfoy is a character from the Harry Potter series of novels, created by British writer J. K. Rowling.
Draco is the latest descendant of the noble thoroughbred Malfoy family, known for the importance he places on purity of blood and for the support given to Lord Voldemort during his ascent. Draco is one of the main antagonists of the series, Harry Potter’s eternal rival both at school and on the ideological level. After the arrest of his father at the end of the fifth book he joins the Death Eaters, however he is soon horrified by the methods and brutality performed by them.
He appears in all of the film adaptations of the series, where he is played by Tom Felton; it is voiced in Italian by Flavio Aquilone. Draco has the task of bringing out the qualities of Harry Potter and is vaguely inspired by the bullies that the author J.K. Rowling met during school. The author uses the Malfoy family to introduce themes of intolerance and bigotry in an environment where people are often judged solely by their blood ties rather than their good character or talents.
