Dance is an art that has always described the expression of a harmonious bodily movement punctuated by a rhythm.
An ancient art, therefore, that belongs to all cultures and that is expressed through the body improvised or according to a predetermined choreography.
In our culture the origins of dance go back to the prehistoric era. Since ancient times, dance has been an integral part of rituals, prayers, sacred moments and aggregation. We find it in popular festivals theaters and in all those places and situations dedicated to entertainment. During its evolutions, dance has undergone multiple transformations that
have changed it into many different forms and genres: Ballet; Modern; Contemporary; Sports dance.
One example that represents the world of Ballet very well is Svetlana Zacharova. She comes from Ukraine, but also won over the italian audience as a guest, in the ballet of the “Teatro alla Scala” of Milan. He holds the same position for the ballet of the Bolshoi theatre in Moscow, from which his career basically took off, despite coming from Ukraine.
