Giusy Ferreri is a famous Italian singer. After several musical experiences with various bands and as a soloist, she achieved notoriety in 2008 by participating and ranking second in the first Italian edition of the talent show X Factor.
In her career she has received various awards, including an Italian Videoclip Award, a Lunezia Award, a Sanremo Hit Award, two Venice Music Awards, five Wind Music Awards and the international European Border Breakers Awards. She participated in three editions of the Sanremo Festival, in 2011, 2014 and 2017 and in five Summer Festivals, from 2014 to 2018.
She currently holds three records: she is the only singer launched by an Italian talent show to have sold more copies in the world with about 2,600,000 albums and singles; she is the artist who has remained the longest at number 1 in the Italian singles chart ( 47 weeks, with the songs Non ti scordar mai di me, November, Rome-Bangkok, Amore e capoeira and Jambo); she is the only Italian artist, together with Baby K, to have got a diamond disc for a digital single, thanks to Rome-Bangkok. Congratulations, Giusy!
