The Omicron 2 sub-variant of the Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus is replacing Omicron 1 and appears to be more contagious than its older sister. But this could also be a positive factor, because we know from history that the pandemics ended when most of the population came into contact with the virus. We can expect a significant increase in positive cases, but not a problem in terms of disease severity and hospitalizations. Especially since at the moment the efficacy of vaccines does not seem to be compromised. As for my thinking, I consider it inappropriate and exaggerated to say that a global pandemic that has caused so many deaths is over, also because if you look at the statistics of COVID-19, every day you immediately notice more and more infections, sometimes many hospitalizations and a large number of deaths (about 130 deaths per day). I still hope that despite some restrictions have been removed, people can wear masks both indoors and in case of need outdoors, I also mean to keep your guard up by vaccinating, keeping masks, distances and sanitizing your hands because the COVID-19 circulates and also strongly. And one who got COVID-19 tells you and luckily thanks to my two doses of the vaccine it wasn’t bad but I always had symptoms like colds, headaches and coughs.
