ASPETTATIVE MALTA

My classmates and I are going on a trip to Malta! We are all super excited for this adventure. Malta is an island in the Mediterranean known for its beautiful beaches, fascinating historical sites, and outdoor activities, so I’m sure there will be plenty to do and see.

One of the things I’m most looking forward to exploring is Valletta, the capital city. It’s full of history and has incredible buildings like St. John’s Co-Cathedral, which is famous for its elaborate interiors. Even though I’m not a big fan of visiting churches and museums, this cathedral seems really impressive.

I’m also excited about visiting Mdina, the “Silent City.” Mdina is an ancient walled city said to be one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Europe. I imagine walking through its narrow streets will be like stepping back in time.

Beyond history, there will be lots of fun activities like swimming in the Blue Lagoon at Comino. The water there is so clear and blue that it’s perfect for snorkeling. And then, Gozo, another island near Malta, seems like a great place for hiking and seeing incredible natural landscapes.

I’m also looking forward to trying some local dishes like pastizz, a traditional snack, and ftira, a type of seasoned bread. It will be interesting to see what the food is like there, especially the fresh fish!

I hope there will also be time for some shopping and maybe to see a local show or festival if something is going on while we are there. With all my friends by my side, I know it will be an unforgettable experience. Malta, here we come!
