I’m sure all of you have sometimes seen the logo of an apple on some devices…
…but have you ever wondered why this big company has chosen fruit as a symbol?
Apple Inc is a US multinational company that manufactures operating systems, smartphones, computers, and multimedia devices, headquartered in Cupertino, California. It is considered one of the Big Tech technology companies, along with Amazon, Google, Microsoft, IBM, and Meta.
This famous electronic device company years ago was also called Apple computer.
Founded in 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne in California, the company initially produced only computers but over the years has begun to produce other devices such as telephones.
The first project created was the first computer ever made also called ‘Blue Box’, made to make calls completely free, managing to sell it to a good number of people.
Things didn’t go smoothly all the time and one of Apple’s crises happened in the year 1985 because there was a conflict between Steve Jobs and John Sculley.
Anyway, the first Apple logo was created by Ronald Wayne which depicts the scientist Isaac Newton sitting under a tree with a dangling apple over his head.
Nevertheless, this logo has never been very successful, so Rob Janoff has the task of creating a more modern logo…
…and that’s how the famous bitten apple was born!
