Who is Antonio Cairoli
Antonio Cairoli’s career was born and grew with a strong passion for motorbikes, especially motocross ones. He began to ride when he was a child on a track built for him by his father. Tony spends most of his days on that track, turning and improving his riding more and more. He also rode on his father’s Vespa dreaming and feeling free. Between 2009 and 2014 Cairoli is the undisputed king of the dirt road. There is no one like him. Dominate the competition by becoming a legend. During his career Cairoli has won nine world champion titles, six of which consecutively. Impressive numbers that however help to understand how Cairoli has become a real symbol of a sport that too often ends up in the background.
On September 14, 2021 Tony Cairoli announced his retirement and in November of the same year he raced his last race, enjoying fully and perhaps as he had never done the affection of his audience, his fans, all the fans. Everyone is aware that they are living a page of history.
Tony Cairoli is married to Jill Cox. The two met in 2005 and it is not surprising that the two met right on the track. She was born in Holland and grew up in a family where there is a real cult of motors. She and Cairoli become friends, then the feeling changes and so does the relationship. The two get engaged and after ten years of relationship, at the end of the 2016 season, the long-awaited marriage proposal arrives. In 2019 the son of Tony Cairoli and Jill was born, Chase Ben Cairoli.
