Journalist: Good evening! we are here with Gianfranco Zola, one of the greatest Italian footballer of the 1990s and 2000s. In 1994 he was world vice-champion with the national team, with which he totaled 35 appearances and 10 goals.
Zola: In 2004 I received the title of Officer of the Order of the British Empire, for the sporting merits achieved during my time at Chelsea and I was nominated for the Ballon d’Or three times, finishing 6th in 1995.
Journalist: what are your technical characteristics?
Zola: Critics say I have one characteristic: modification, that is to say I’m capable of playing the role of attacking midfielder, second striker or even that of winger , I distinguish myself for my ability in dribbling and in providing assists for my teammates.
Journalist: Let’s remember you are equipped with great technique, speed, vision of the game and with 20 goals, you are the fifth among the best free-kickers in Serie A history.
