S:: tell me about your trip to Disneyland Paris about four years ago when we didn’t know the dangers caused by Covid -19. I would like to go there with my family when Covid-19 problems will end!
R.: yes, with pleasure! Until a few years ago it was called Euro Disney Resort or Disneyland Resort Paris. It’s the amusement park of over 22 Km2 located near Paris, in Chessy, in the Seine-et-Marne department. Inaugurated in 1992, it has an annual average of more than 15 million visitors and is the most visited tourist attraction in France and Europe.
S.: is it very big?
R.: Yes, it is. The resort complex includes two theme parks, Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. There are also several hotels, a golf course and two shopping centers. It is divided into 5 themed areas: main Street USA is the main street in the park, with many shops and restaurants. It is the reconstruction of a typical American town of the early twentieth century, in the style of the one where Walt Disney lived during his childhood. At the beginning of the street is the Disneyland Railroad train station, while at the end there is what is the symbol of the park, the Sleeping Beauty castle.
S.: where can you find our beloved Disney characters?
R.: you can find them in Fantasyland Sleeping Beauty Castle: there are Pinocchio, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Snow White and Alice in Wonderland. A themed attraction is dedicated to each of them. I also recommend “It’s a Small World”, where it is possible to visit the land of dolls from a boat. The dolls and the animals present there represent all the nationalities of the world and sing a hymn to universal brotherhood.
I suggest you to go to another area, that is adventure land. The entrance is inspired by the Thousand and One Nights souk and leads to the enchanted passage of Aladdin. From here you can reach the attractions related to the characters of Indiana Jones and Peter Pan. At the far north of Adventureland is the stone fort of the Pirates of the Caribbean.
S.: how many days do you suggest to stay there?
R.:I suggest you to stay there at least three days , so you can go to Frontierland , the country of the Far West and the village of Pocahontas is also present, to Discoveryland and Walt Disney Studios Park. Walt Disney Studios park is the smallest Disney park. Born in 2002, it has 16 attractions .
