A funfair is an area occupied by rides, attractions, and kiosks. The name derives from one of the first permanent amusement parks to bear this name built in Coney Island, New York, in 1903. Dozens of parks followed which were built with the same philosophy and took the name of their first model.
The amusement parks as well as stable can be “itinerant”. In this case they are made up of smaller attractions and above all transportable by road. The stable amusement parks can also be equipped with attractions and rides that normally arise in large amusement parks.
From the historical point of view, the amusement parks are considered the origin of the current amusement parks. It is simpler than the amusement park, which has as its basic idea the creation of a stable area later also on a theme. Furthermore, unlike the amusement park, the amusement park does not provide a single entrance ticket for all the attractions but each single carousel has its own box.
One of the most important amusement parks in Italy is “cinecittà world”, in Rome, opened on 24 July 2014. The attractions in the park are 34 and are divided into 3 categories: adrenaline, family, children. There are 5 thematic areas: “cinecittà world” (main street themed 20s), “spaceland” (science fiction area around the spaceship Altair CCW 02-04), “Rome” (Roman themed area during the battle of Actium) , “Adventureland” (jungle adventure themed area) and “Far West” (west village).
Amusement parks are parks where not only a child or an adult can enjoy themselves, but the whole family, so it is advisable to visit them. Good fun!
