Donald Trump is famous for being a successful entrepreneur and also a television personality. Then he surprised everyone with the decision to run for the Presidency of the United States and he is considered one of the richest men in the world. He is known for his huge investments and for having made his surname a real media label, used as a brand for his businesses and acquisitions. He is the son of Fred Trump, a wealthy New York entrepreneur, who was heavily influenced by his intention to pursue a career in the same industry. In 1971 Donald Trump moved to Manhattan and began to take an interest in large buildings, in which it was easy to recognize the name of those who built them. The first “great work” is the old-fashioned “Penn Central”, in the West Side area, where Trump builds the new brand Grand Hyatt, quite different from the Commodore Hotel. This work was very successfully.

A few years later, the entrepreneur tries to exploit it for an imperious restoration work wanted by the city of New York, namely to place the Wollman Rink in Central Park. In the meantime, Trump gives life to several other buildings and his name begins to circulate in the city, especially in print. In the 1980s, the manufacturer also invested in casinos and other hotels, exposing its name and its financial guarantees far beyond what is due. Thus, in 1989, due to the recession, Trump begins to find himself in a series of financial difficulties that he carries with him for the rest of his entrepreneurial career, considered by some always on the verge of collapsing and by others, on the contrary, firmly established and beyond the capitulate. In 2006 he became the most important testimonial of the telecommunications and energy multinational ACN Inc. He also invested in wrestling and television, bringing to the screens a reality show entitled “The Apprentice”, produced entirely by him.

From 2010 he became more and more interested in politics and during a well-known television program, the “Larry King Live”, in September 2008, Donald Trump formalized his support for the republican Senator John McCain, in the running for the presidential elections. On June 16, 2015 Donald Trump formally announced his candidacy in the 2016 presidential elections. Going through various political battles (including within his party), criticisms, public speeches, one year later, in July he officially became the Republican candidate for the presidency, to succeed Obama. To challenge him was Hillary Clinton. On January 20, 2017, Donald Trump officially entered the White House as the 45th president of the United States of America.
In 2016, “Forbes” magazine listed him as the second most powerful person in the world, while the US weekly “Time” chose him as the “person of the year”. On June 30, 2019, he became the first president in US history to enter North Korea. Shortly before the end of his term, Donald Trump is impeached by the House of Representatives.
