Recently the Italian football championship closed with an unexpected outcome, mainly because of the winning of Milan, and also for the miracle of the football team Salernitana.
Originally founded in 1919 as the Unione Sportiva Salernitana. The club was known as Società Sportiva Salernitanaudax for a time during the 1920s following a merger with Audax Salerno. In 1978, the club was renamed Salernitana Sport. The club has spent the majority of its history in the Serie B of the Italian national League.
Salernitana play their home matches at Stadio Arechi In their early years, Salernitana competed in the Regional Italian Football Championship. They played at this level for four seasons during the 1920s. Since that time the club returned to the top level of Italian football twice.
According to forecasts this football team would be out of the Ligue A and go down to the B league. The 15 of February 2022, a desperate team asked to replace Stefano Colantuono, the Salernitana is going through a lot of struggles, the company needs a new owner and missed a lot of matches because of the covid’s infections among the players. To face all these problems the team needed a very strong person as a coach and the athletic director Walter Sabatini knew who would be the most suitable person. The new coach immediately proved his capability to bring this squad to the victory drawing with Milan 2 to 2. After beating Sampdoria, Fiorentina and Udinese came the crucial match with Venezia, that was beaten 2 to 1. This team, thanks to the draw of Cagliari, manages to save for a point.
