THE MASKS

Since december 2019, we have been living in a situation of global emergency. Covid-19 has forced us to insert some new items in our lives, such as hand sanitizers and masks. Masks allow us to repair ourselves from the virus. There are two types of masks that are used most and they are: 

1.  THE SURGICAL MASK= the most used and the most common. We can find it in different colours. It isn’t expensive.
2. FFP2= it is compulsory, now, at school or at work in general, because it protects us better. Unfortunately, it is expensive. 

Last, but not least, there are the school’s masks. 

Many companies in Italy specialized in producing masks. For example, M2020 is a leading company in Italy for the production of surgical masks, and it is located in Prato, our city. M2020 sells for companies, hospitals, public and private entities. The M2020 company was established in 2020 to give help to Italy, which was in the middle of a pandemic. 

People are now using surgical masks or ffp2. But these masks are a problem for the world. A lot of people throw them on the streets or on the grass. The only way not to pollute is to throw the masks in suitable bins. However, used masks will remain a big problem connected to pollution for many years because many used masks are also found in the sea, and fish can unfortunately eat them….

Moreover, around the world, fake news is also circulating about masks. For example, some people say that there is a microchip inside some masks so that the State can control us and our movements.
