Everyone knows or has heard a few times about who influencers are, but have you ever wondered how these people really influence their followers’ lives?
A research, carried out by “Statistic Global Customer Survey” tried to answer this question through a survey (from July 2021 to September 2021) which calculated the percentage of people who actually buy what is recommended by various influencers in their countries. The result is that countries like Brazil, China, India and Italy are very “influenced” by influencers, while countries like France, England or Germany are more wary of influencers’ advice.
The high position of Italy on the list doesn’t seem particularly surprising if we consider the social importance of influencers in our country. It is no coincidence, in fact, that a TV series regarding the two most important Italian influencers, Chiara Ferragni and Fedez, was released a few days ago.
But today there are always those who don’t see this as a real job and those who criticize influencers because they just recommend the products of the highest paying brands and do not contribute in any way to the development of our society, but we must consider the evident importance that this profession covers in Italy and in the world, so perhaps it’s time to accept this new job and, who knows, try to use this phenomenon to build our own future.
