Racism is an irrational phenomenon, and ,unfortunately, it is very widespread in our society. It is a bad prejudice towards people with different characteristics from those who judge them. If we think about past history , we can remember Hitler who considered the Jews, the gypsies, the homosexuals people to kill. Some people use this expression to refer to black people or immigrants; we sometimes listen to sentences like “ immigrants steal jobs, they are criminals, thieves”. Sometimes racism is a form of violence towards women, considered inferior to men in some cultures . A child is not born a racist, but is educated to be by family, environment or by society. We should try to change these people’s opinions to make them understand that all this is unfair, and that evaluating a person by the colour of the skin is wrong! Stop racism, please!
