The President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, will be in Messina on Wednesday 13 April.
During his visit, the Head of State will attend a ceremony at the “Bonino Pulejo” Foundation at the “Vittorio Emanuele” Theatre in Messina, when the Foundation’s 50th anniversary and the Gazzetta del Sud’s 70th anniversary will be celebrated in the late afternoon.
In order to guarantee security, the Messina Police Headquarters asked the city council to make some changes to the road system, which were accepted by the Urban Mobility Department.
Re-elected on 29 January 2022, President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, will be in Messina as Head of State, and it will be the first time since in his first seven-year term there was no opportunity for him to make an official visit to Messina.
Mattarella, in fact, attended the Bonino-Pulejo Scholarship award ceremony on 3 March 1990, but in his capacity as Minister of Defence.
