In less than a week, the two famous actors have raised more than $20millions in support of Ukraine, the country where Mila Kunis was born.
But their mission is not over yet. The goal is to reach $30millions. This is the declared mission of actress Mila Kunis – known to the general public for her performance in ‘The Black Swan’ – and her husband Ashton Kutcher: American actor, model, film producer, author and television presenter.
The couple, with great pride, explains what they have done so far in a video that is making the rounds on social media: “We want to give you a little update on our campaign to side with Ukraine,” Kutcher explained. “We have raised over $20millions in less than a week. And I say “we” because we are all together. Some people didn’t have the means to do that and they did an incredible job of getting the word out and sharing it. But we’re not done.”
“Our goal is $30 million, and we’re going to get there,” Kutcher concluded, thanking the 56,000 people who wanted to support the collection started by the two stars. “Whether it was $5, $10 or $1,000, it means so much to us.” “We keep pushing. Let’s keep spreading the word and together we will reach our goal,” he resumed.
“The first humanitarian aid is already on the ground. Flexport has already dispatched planes that are delivering humanitarian aid to NGOs and Air BnBs that are taking in refugees. There have been over a million children in refugee status right now – anything we can do is a big help to them.”
