February 25, 2022, the war between Russia and Ukraine begins.
We start talking about bombings and invasions. It seems like a nightmare to me, I didn’t think that in 2022 all these things could still happen. There was nothing else on the news, the first injured and then many victims began to appear.
The most unfair thing, in my opinion, is that the victims are precisely those poor citizens who are against all this and would just like to live a normal life, but despite this they are involved and killed. Many people have lost their homes, which are now reduced to rubble; others are forced to flee out of fear, having to distance themselves from their loved ones. I can’t accept that after all that history has it really happened we are still at square one, hating, killing, trying to conquer other people’s lands to have all the power. It’s time to say ENOUGH! Enough of these hateful wars! Nothing can be solved with violence, on the contrary, things only get worse.
I very much hope that the war will end soon and that it will never happen again.
