During my experience in Malta I had the opportunity to visit this beautiful island.
Every morning we had the chance to see many important places where life was concentrated, such as:
- St. Julian, the modern part of the island with all the shopping centres, the clubs and the skyscrapers;
- Medina, the ancient city, beautiful with her defence walls, her magical silence, the catacombs of the near Rabat;
- Sliema, a big coastal area with many other shopping centres and her beautiful beaches;
- La Valletta, the capital of Malta, with her history and her beauty.
After the excursions, every day we had really interesting lessons in order to improve our English.
Special mention to our visit in Gozo
During our last day, we went to visit the island of Gozo, where we received a warm welcome by a local school and got the opportunity to interact with many other teens and improve our English.
We played many games and quizzes together and then we went on a treasure hunt that showed us all the important places of the island.
We saw the ancient part of the city, some of the most populated streets and we even got the pleasure to try a typical street food: Pastizzi.
