Moto GP video games

From year to year videogames creator work very similar to each other and, in the case of sport videogames, except for changes in the technical regulations in real sport, finding real differences from the previous games becomes very difficult. They would try to add completely new and tangent content to the playful offer, as seen last year in Codemasters’ F1 2021 which has created an entire narrative mode in the wake of the Netflix show Formula 1: Drive to Survive, which has certainly marked a certain way of telling sport.
Milestone’s MotoGP is obviously not exempt from these problems of “repetitiveness”, with a MotoGP regulation practically frozen for several years. On the one hand, they can only thank Ducati Corse for having brought a real technological development in the aerodynamic and technical field, then transposed into a videogame key; on the other hand, they must also look at the competition and it seems that a new fashion is starting to make its way among sports games: telling stories.
Let’s start right here, with the biggest content novelty of MotoGP 22: NINE Season 2009. All sports have something to tell, epic challenges in which an underdog manages to defeat a multiple world champion, personal redemptions after terrible injuries or existential dramas capable of compromising bright careers. In addition to this fantastic new novelty, as always there are the usual single careers that you can do as you want. So, for example, you can start your career from Moto3, Moto2 or MotoGP. Obviously the pilot can be customized as you wish. Then there are the championship, grand prix and free trial modes. And finally there is the mode most loved by all, which is the multiplayer mode. This game is truly amazing. Especially the new mode that I have already started. As always Milestone proves to always create great video games and I’m happy with that.
