The word “manga” is a Japanese term for Japanese comics. In
Japan this term indicates all comics, regardless of the themes and
nationality of origin. Japanese comics include many genres, such
as adventure, romance, history, comedy, and science fiction. This
form of art, although born in Japan, has been exported and
translated all over the world. They are mainly printed in black and
white, but also in color, but they are less frequent than those in
black and white due to the cost of coloring.
