Lipari is the biggest island of the Aeolian Islands, they’re also called the “seven sisters” or “Lipari Islands”.
The Aeolian Islands are collocated on the north of Sicily.
The population of Lipari is about 11 thousand people, in the island you can find lots of churches, a bunch of school and a Hospital.
Lipari is a famous tourist destination, well known mostly for the beautiful sea, in fact, in the summer thousands of tourists, from all over the world, choose the island for their holidays.
If you want to visit the island, I’m gonna tell you the places you must visit.
If you want to take a good swim you must go to Canneto, where you can find a lot of seashore, some are free and some are for a fee.
On the free shores you have to take your beach stuff, but, it’s a good alternative if you just want to watch the sea, or have a picnic on the beach.
If you want to have a relaxing day, you can go to a for a fee seashore, instead.
In these shores you can find a restaurant, where you can have lunch, or an aperitif. There are also a lot of deck chairs, when you can take the sun or have a nap.
A place you must visit, if you want to take a picture of the sunset is “the osservatorio”. From there you can see the sunset and also the nearest islands.
In the center of the island, the “corso” you can find a lot of shops, there are some souvenirs shops, some clothes shops and a supermarket.
