LEONARDO DA VINCI AND HIS UNIVERSAL KNOWLEDGE.

He was the authenthic expression of his time, as he was deeply interested in the knowledge of reality under every aspect, through the concrete data of experience. In fact, according to Leonardo, every phenomenon can be investigated  and explained only through our five senses and through sight. And it is precisely  this conviction that has lead him to always have little trust in traditional truths. He realizes the existence of increasingly dense layers  of air in the distance, and this is why the volumes of his paintings are less defined in the background and take on a more whitish color due to the phenomenon  of atmosphere.
