Inter

The Football Club Internazionale Milano, better known as Internazionale or more simply as Inter, is an Italian football club based in the city of Milan.

Founded on 9 March 1908 by a group of dissident members of AC Milan, the club has always played in the top flight of the national championship since its first official match, in 1909, and is the only one to have participated in all editions of Serie A, established in the 1929-30 season. Since its foundation, he has worn a black and blue vertical striped uniform, apart from a brief spell in 1928 when he adopted a red-and-white white shirt.

In its palmarès it includes 33 national titles – 19 scudetti, 8 Italian Cups and 6 Italian Super Cups – which make it the second most titled club behind Juventus (59). On the international level, it boasts 3 European Cups / Champions League, 3 UEFA Cups, 2 Intercontinental Cups and a FIFA Club World Cup, for a total of 9 official trophies that place Inter behind Milan (18) and Juventus. (11) in the ranking of Italian clubs by number of victories in international competitions. In 2010 it became the first and only Italian team to have won the three main competitions played during the season: the Champions League, the league and the Italian Cup; 2 with subsequent triumphs in the Italian Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup it has also become the first and, so far, only team in the country to win five trophies in a calendar year. 3

The club can count on numerous support both nationally and internationally. 4 5 6 In 1998 and 2010 Inter were named World Team of the Year by the IFFHS; in 2009 it was placed sixth in the secular list of the best European clubs drawn up by the same federation of history and statistics, 7 and in 2011 in fifth place (first Italian) in the European ranking of the best teams of the decade 2001-2010.

1968 marked the end of a cycle, with Moratti who decided to hand over to Ivanoe Fraizzoli. Under his presidency, Inter returned to winning the Scudetto in the 1970-71 season, led on the bench by Giovanni Invernizzi who became the first Nerazzurri coach to win the national title as a substitute.19 In 1977 Eugenio Bersellini was hired, who remained on the Inter bench for five seasons, winning two Italian Cups in 1977-78 and 1981-82 and a Scudetto in 1979-80
