Talking about great ladies, I’d like to celebrate my friend Vittoria Musumeci.
Vittoria, after only three months of MTB training, on Sunday 7th March made her first race in Giarre. Her goal was to complete the course and above all to have fun. The race took place in a 7.6Km long course plus 3.8Km of warm up.
The MTB is a sport that consists of riding off-road bicycles, often on rough terrain. Compared to normal bicycles, mountain bikes are specifically designed to increase strength and efficiency on uneven terrain. The MTB is divided into several categories: cross country, hiking cycle, enduro, downhill, freeride, slopestyle, dirt jump e trial.
Most of the practitioners prefer “pedaling” and it is also a sport that requires physical and mental endurance driving ability and self-sufficiency. It can be practiced anywhere from a courtyard to a gravel road, but most bikers ride off-road routes that are country roads, forest roads, narrow-width paths, created and maintained.
Most people mistake them for cyclists but bikers stay away from their homes.
