Final awards

The “EnglishNews” project, as you know, will end on 27 May 2022.
The 100 most voted articles will be selected, 50 for secondary schools and 50 for high schools.
The evaluation system will be based on the quality of the “article” and on the appropriate use of the English language for the final choice of 10 winners, 5 for the secondary school and 5 for the high school.
The articles will be examined by an experts board made up of the President of MeaCivitas, a professor of Market Analysis from the University of Messina, an English mother tongue expert, the director of the Nativity Museum of Malta and a journalist.
Final prize:
– an English language proficiency test,
– 10 online lessons of 45 minutes with a dedicated teacher,
– educational material,
– Feltrinelli giftcard valid for the purchase of an English audiobook,
– and, finally, a discount card for language courses in Malta.
The award will take place at the end of May 2022.
The prize “The class flies to Malta” will also be awarded in May.
All the students who took part in the project will receive a certificate of participation at the end of what we hope was and will be a constructive, fun and unique experience.

Il progetto EnglishNews, come sapete, si concluderà il 27 Maggio 2022.
Verranno selezionati i 100 articoli più votati, 50 per le scuole medie inferiori e 50 per le scuole medie superiori.
Il sistema di valutazione sarà basato sulla qualità del “pezzo” e sull’uso appropriato della lingua inglese per la scelta finale di 10 vincitori, 5 per la scuola media inferiore e 5 per la scuola media superiore.
Gli articoli saranno esaminati da una Commissione di esperti formata dal Presidente di MeaCivitas, un docente di Analisi di mercato dell’Università di Messina, un’esperta madrelingua inglese, il direttore del Nativity Museum di Malta ed un giornalista.
Il premio finale:
– un test di valutazione del livello della conoscenza della lingua inglese,
– 10 lezioni online da 45min con l’insegnate dedicato,
– materiale didattico,
– giftcard Feltrinelli valida per l’acquisto di un audiolibro in inglese,
– ed infine una tessera sconto per stage linguistici a Malta.
L’assegnazione avverrà alla fine di Maggio 2022.
Il premio “La classe vola a Malta” verrà assegnato anch’esso nel mese di Maggio.
Tutti gli studenti che hanno aderito al progetto riceveranno un attestato di partecipazione a conclusione di un’esperienza che ci auguriamo sia stata e sarà costruttiva, divertente ed unica.
