EATING WELL

Eating well is important. The question everyone asks isthis: what is it for? Eating well means choosing foodcorrectly, in relation to their calorie and theircomposition. In addition, you need to maintain a variedand balanced diet. It is therefore necessary to consumefruits, vegetables, pasta, rice, potatoes, oil and fats, milkand cheeses, but also meat, fish, eggs and legumes in a balanced way.

Eating well serves to avoid excessive weight gain butalso to reduce the risk of metabolic and cardiovasculardiseases but also reduces the chance of cancer.

It is necessary to educate children to eat well becausehealthy habits are learned from childhood. Eating must be a pleasure, it must not be lived as an obligation. It is necessary to make the little ones understand that eatingis fun as well as pleasant. Staying at the table meansnourishing but also conviviality, that is to be able to share with the family or with other people of peacefuland pleasant moments.

With the children, food education is proposed in the form of a game. So, they enjoy learning, experimenting, growing. Also, children discover new tastes.

Breakfast is important because when the body wakes up, it needs energy. The amount that must never be exaggerated is important for food, but it is also importantto take many liquids.

It is necessary to do a break in the middle of the morning, for example with dry fruit or nuts.

Lunch is the right time to take a portion of carbohydrates, preferably whole grains, strictlyaccompagnied by a portion of vegetables.

If you didn’t introduce proteins for lunch, it is necessarydo it for dinner. Golden ruless of a healthy diet want a maximum of three times a week for meat, yes to fish and vegetable proteins. A trick? Start the meal by bringingvegetables to the tables. It is optimal have a light mealbefore 20.30 to ensure the digestion.

After dinner can be a good idea to have relaxing herbaltea. To avoid categorically the sweets that trigger the glycemic peak.

So good food for everyone!
