CRISTOFORETTI:”ON THE ISS I FEEL AT HOME WITH MY AMERICAN AND RUSSIAN TEAMMATES”

Six months ago Samantha Cristoforetti left for space with the CREW-3 mission.

During her connection with the space station, as reported on the newspaper ANSA, she stated that she feels at home with her teammates and she’s excited to work with them, after seven years they prove themselves kind and available and she’s happy to work with them.

This isn’t her first space travel experience and she said that the adaptation was faster and easier, she also had the opportunity to travel with another vehicle as her teammate Matthias, to whom she wishes to be able to fly in a European vehicle ,as she said for the interview.

“I’m so happy to see Samantha here in space to take the European leadership.” and “ she has a great level of preparation so she will have no problem in the next months to carry out all the experiments” said Matthias who’s preparing to return to Earth.

Samantha is the first Italian woman in the crews of the European Space Agency and everyone talk about her when she leave the Earth. She undertakes on social media to making know people how is living on space and how normal activity are made without gravity like drink or eat, how to conserve food, how they shower and other things like this.

In 2014/2015 he held the record of permanence in the space in a single flight with 199 days.
